Over the past years, Melissa and her husband have bought and flipped foreclosure homes. More recently, they have invested in some properties that they rent out. They have also owned a successful service business in Rochester for 20+ years. With the combination of being a business owner and having their own real estate transactions, Melissa knows how important customer service is and how to be a problem solver, even having to think outside the box the find a solution. Real estate isn't just about buying homes; it's connecting with people and guiding them through a very big transaction in their life. She has the ability to navigate each client as each has their own unique real estate journey.
ABOUT
Melissa was born in Williston, ND, raised in Sidney, MT, and has now lived in Rochester for the past 22 years. She has an Associate's degree in Administration. She and her husband have been married for 20 years and are busy raising five kiddos ranging from age 3–18, as well as their pet goldendoodle!
WHY REAL ESTATE?
She decided to become a realtor because she was looking for something that allowed her the flexibility to be home with her family. She also really enjoys real estate and has followed the market for many years; whenever a friend or family mentioned they were looking, Melissa was searching the MLS for them. She really enjoys looking for homes and helping others, and being a realtor gives her the best of both worlds.
FUN FACT
Melissa loves being by the water; summer is her favorite season! She enjoys spending time with family, watching home design shows, and browsing the MLS.
